Mr. Mirza Ali Wasiq

Mr. Mirza Ali Wasiq is the Founder and CEO of VEER Consulting Services and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is a seasoned leader with over 14 years of experience in Program Management, Human Resources Management, Training, and Capacity Building with international organizations. Mr. Mirza Ali Wasiq has held leadership positions and worked as a consultant with prominent organizations such as UNDP, USAID Funded Projects, EU Funded projects, BBC Media Action, AKF, FINCA International, ACGF, OXUS International Microfinance, NRC, IDLG, DACAAR, and more.

Aside from his professional work experience, he has volunteered with the Agha Khan national councils for Afghanistan and Tajikistan and the Global Encounter International Festival since 2015. He has also represented Afghanistan in the Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum as an international partner (volunteer) of the World Business Angles Forum (WBAF) for over three years.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mirza Ali Wasiq has planned, developed, and implemented multimillion-dollar programs with international organizations and donors in Afghanistan, serving the most vulnerable citizens of the country. With his excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities, he has successfully put together, coached, and led large and diverse teams. He is highly adaptable to change and provides innovative solutions to challenges. Mr. Mirza Ali Wasiq is devoted to helping others and expanding his knowledge through experience, education, and exposure to new ideas.

As part of his academic achievements, he was honored with the “40 under 40” award through Kardan University in 2020. He holds an MBA from UoPeople in the USA and is a Certified International Professional Trainer (CIPT) through the American Certification Institute (ACI). He has also attended high-level international training and courses.
